Hallie Rounthwaite, the River officer with the Kentish Stour Countryside Partnership, has kindly agreed to hold two free family-friendly River Dipping sessions on Sunday 17 May for the Young Friends of Kingsmead Field and other interested children. The sessions will take place at 11.30am and 12.30pm on the riverbank of Kingsmead Field. Each session will last approximately 45 minutes and will be open to children aged 5 and above. Younger siblings are welcome too. There will also be an opportunity for children to draw river creatures along the footpath of the field using chalks. All children will need to be supervised by a responsible adult.
Kingsmead Field is located on the Kingsmead Road in Canterbury opposite the Kingsmead Leisure Centre. There will be free parking in the car park on the field from 10.30am to 2pm. Registration is essential on the form below.
If you are having any problems with the form and would prefer to register directly, please email info@kingsmeadfield.org.uk to let us know your name, the number of children attending, which river dipping session you wish to book for and whether you give permission for the Friends of Kingsmead Field to use a picture of your child(ren) as part of a review of the event or future promotion (including Facebook and posters).
